Tomas Krister Oneborg (28 March 1958 – 31 March 2020 in Hägersten) was a Swedish photograph. He was employed as a press photographer at Svenska Dagbladet. His photos of the aftermath of the terrorist attack at Drottninggatan in 2017, was awarded second place prize at Photo of the Year.

Tomas Oneborg started at Svenska Dagbladet in 1986 where he remained for 34 years.
During his career, he won the News Picture of the Year 2018 after being the first press photographer to be present at the terrorist attack on Drottninggatan in central Stockholm.
He has worked as a photographer for 40 years and photographed many horrible things, accidents and violent events. But of course not to this large extent, he said afterward, he has previously said about the incident, according to SvD.

– Tomas will be extremely missed both as a friend and colleague. He was one of the best news photographers in Sweden with an incredible sense of composition and details. He leaves behind a large void and a rich image treasure.
