A LONDON man has been left paralysed after knifeman sliced his spinal cord on a four-day stabbing rampage, a court heard today.

As well as five counts of attempted murder, he also faces five counts of possession of an offensive weapon in connection with the attacks, the Met said in a statement.
Kakaire, of Cameron Close, Edmonton, allegedly savagely stabbed the innocent people in the back, Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court heard this Friday.
Earlier, four other people in the Edmonton area had been targeted, with two critically hurt and one with potentially life-changing injuries.

Harika Yuksel, prosecuting, told Highbury Corner Magistrates Court: “This case relates to a spate of violent attacks.
“All the attacks were carried out in a small geographical area over a short period of time.”
Describing one alleged victim as being a man in his 30s, the prosecutor said he suffered a severe back wound.
She added: “The most seriously injured had a severed spinal cord causing paralysis.
“All the victims were of varying ages and ethnicities and were both male and female.”
District Judge Julia Newton denied Kakaire bail. He did not enter pleas and will now appear at the Old Bailey on May 3.
